Yiming Wan received the Ph.D. degree in Automatic Control from Tsinghua University in 2013. From 2013 to 2016, he was a postdoc researcher in Prof. Tamas Kevickzy's group at Delft Center for Systems and Control, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. During 2016-2018, he was a Research Associate in Prof. Richard Braatz's group at Department of Chemical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the United States. Since February 2018, he has been an Associate Professor in the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His research interests include fault-tolerant control, moving horizon estimation, model predictive control, learning-based control and estimation, industrial data analytics, with applications in unmanned systems, energy, and industrial processes.
